Sometimes referred to as wide format printers, large format printers are characterised by being able to print onto anything between 17 – 60 inches wide (and greater in some cases), making them ideal for banners, exhibition displays, signage, vehicle graphics and posters. In contrast to litho printers and digital printers, large format printers typically print onto a roll of paper, as opposed to individual sheets, providing the flexibility to print extremely long jobs in one piece whilst removing the need for seams or joins.
Another great benefit of using large format printers to print promotional material is that they can be extremely cost-effective thanks to the setup processes involved (akin to that of digital printers). This makes it possible even for businesses on a tight budget to commission highly professional promotional display materials for use at exhibitions and conferences.
